In the process of installing HID projectors in my headlamps. Got the first one done tonight, and I'll do the second one tomorrow.

Looks good, now that one jag from a few months ago can't bitch at you for not having proper projectors. Me, I'm using projector fogs and running them (along with LED white corners and switchback turn signals) as my low beams, and then using my non-projected low beam HID's as high beams since I didn't buy the low/high 9007's like I should have. And Jeckel, no go on those caps. I looked everywhere but I couldn't find them, I'm thinking they were in the Trigue when I sold it :(

Got the second projector installed this afternoon. This one only took me an hour and a half (compared to the 3 hours it took me last night).

Where did you get the projectors for your headlights? i've looked all over and couldnt find anything

Ill post some pics of my car tomorrow to show what ive done since im new here

However I bought just the projectors ($120) as I already had bulbs and ballasts. But I'd recommend getting the whole kit as it will make installation much easier.

And just note you have to trim the shroud because by no means will it fit in there un-trimmed.

I have 6K hid lights right now with ballasts, so would i only need the projectors? i might just get the kit as a whole and redo my lights completely

That or just order the morimoto mini H1 projectors and also special order the correct adapter plate (as the projectors only come with H1). I ended up just hot-gluing my bulbs in because I didn't have the right adapter plate.

Thanks man, ill look into it. ill probably buy some headlights from a junk yard to experiment with before i use mine.

Well I finally learned when my governor kicks in. I was racing a power stroke diesel F-150 down the highway tonight. I was doing great until I hit 111MPH and couldn't go any faster.

Hahaha, That's good. :) I think you need to reprogram that chip though. (I need to do mine as well) ;)

Since I'm a newbie to the forum, I can post pics or links yet, but I have a 2002 GL with 195600 or so on it. There are some older pics on my site here. http://www.larkowski.net/car

It looks about the same now, but a falling dead branch put a small dent in my hood about 6 months ago.... :(
