The rear wiper motor was not working on my Bravada so I bought a remanufactured motor and installed it. I also replaced the switch on console below the radio. I checked the orange wire and I have juice back to it so I plugged it in an nothing happened. I jiggled the connector a little and it started making noise and then would momentarily work and then not work. I unplugged the switch and I am still getting voltage back to the orange wire. I plugged the connector back in and if I open and close the back hatch, the motor starts and runs for a little bit and then stops (with no switch plugged in).
I don't understand how the motor can still have voltage when the switch has been dissconnected. There is a control module mounted on the lift gate. Would that cause the problem?
Can anyone post a wiring diagram for that area at the on the lift gate area?
Any ideas?
