Hey guys, I periodically find myself in various yards. If there is something you need, let me know and I will take a look for you. Here's the deal though, to avoid a problem, you need to give me all the info on the car, sometimes you may know the info, but I can't read minds, I'm trying, but that hasn't worked yet. Next, you need to give me a limit of how much you're willing to spend on the part, and have the money avail. The reason for that is obvious, IF I get the part for you, I'm paying for it, and I don't want to get stuck with it, since I don't need it. I AM DOING YOU A FAVOR! I am not getting the part and marking it up, what it is, is what it is, plus what it cost me to package it and ship it out, dollar for dollar! If you want to get an idea of what the part cost is, look it up on "car-part.com" and price it out. The yards I go to have a no return policy unless it's a bad part, and I only can get credit, no cash refunds from them. These are what I call fast yards. A fast yard is a yard that has a fast turn over in cars. That means, it's here today, get what you need, it might be crushed tomorrow. I can be a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to parts.... meaning I'm not going to get a part for you if it's not good enough for me. As I said, I'm not out to make money off you guys, just help you if I can. If I do see a part, and there aren't any more, and I'm not thrilled with it, I will give YOU the option of saying get it or pass on it. Only problem is, I may not be able to get back there before it gets squashed, which by any case, another one might come down the road in better shape later. I recently did this for another member of the this site (uses the login name bill wills), who was absolutely thrilled at what I did for him, and he surprised me with something extra. you can always check with him from the cutlass fwd forum, hear it directly from him, he used paypal and it all worked great.
