Disabling the "Fasten Belts" light?

Hey everyone. I have a 1989 Olds Delta 88 Royale, and I'm interested in disabling the Fasten Belts light in the instrument cluster. Is there an easy way of doing this? If anyone knows how, could you let me know? When I start up the car, the light doesn't go out, it just stays on all the time and drives me nuts.

unhook the negative battery cable, and let it sit for 20minutes. that should take car of you, or do what i do, pull the fuse

I unplugged the fuse and put it back in, fixed it I suppose. I don't get it lol. Oh well. My parents Buick did the same thing all the time, could never figure it out!
