Change Oil Light

my change oil light came on. i changed the oil but the light stayed. i disconnected the battery for about 5 minutes, reconnected but light is still on. how do i get this fixed??
 
if you pop the fuse box on the side there is an oil reset light...of course i'll tell you what i tell all the people that call me...RTFM...LOL, it will tell you in the owners manual how to reset that bad boy..

normally i would but this is the company car and i dont have one. thnx for the info. though
 
ya its easy to do..ive had to do it once or twice as I bought my car used from a chevy dealer and they say they "dont know how to do it on my car" just look for a red buttion in the drivers side fuse area. I forget exactly how long and exactly what you need to do, but its very simple.
 
Had to reset mine not too long after I bought it (used). If I remember right, you hold until the door chime comes on and it should be good. Please remember to leave the key out of the ignition, otherwise you won't be able to tell what chime you're getting.
