Been having this problem for the last three months. The battery will drain in a matter of a few hours. It seems worse when the weather is cold.. Had it at a local garage for a few days and he couldn't find the drain. Said it was a heck of a drain, but couldn't pin it down.

My wife took it to a GM dealer that claimed it was an under the hood plunger switch connected to the remote start. He unhooked it and said that should fix it,but told her the remote start would still work...It did not...

The people that installed the remote start said that that switch was in no way the problem. They did away with the switch and reset the remote start, and told her that there was most likely some other electrical issue....The next afternoon it was dead again..There seems to be no rhyme or reason to when it does this, but when it does it only takes a few hours to drain the battery almost completely.
Anyone else have an issue like this? Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Getting very frustrating.

I had that issue with mine. Is the remote wire for the remote start wired to front or rear fuse box? That’s what I found anyway. Also check all relays and do a parasitic draw test with a multi meter.
