Hi All!!
I have a 93 Regency Elite with the factory AM/FM/tape player. I found out the hard way (before reading this forum) that other GM AM/FM/CD players will fit in the dash but due to the overhang of the dash cover, you cannot get the CD into the slot. I want to put a GM factory CD player in the car to keep the steering wheel controls. I have read the threads about the steering wheel controls and the divorced CD player. My concern: I found a divorced CD player for a 95 Buick Riviera. If my car came WITHOUT a factory CD player, will my factory AM/FM/tape player be able to "communicate" with and run the Riviera CD player? Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the 93 Regency Elite stereo system with divorced CD player? Or is this not worth doing? Thanks in advance for any advice.
Sincerely, Dave.
