'87 Cutlass Ciera stalling problem

Im having a little difficulty with my cutlass. last summer, the tranny went out, so got it rebuilt, and it was running fine until now. Now I'll be driving along, and the car will just stop running. Electricity is still on, it just feels like I run out of gas. then theres a 50% chance that it'll start right away if I try to start it. Other times I've let it sit for fifteen minutes, then it started. Other than this, I have had no real problems, so Im at a loss. thinking maybe dirty fuel line or something? any help is appreciated.
 
I have a 91 Ciera with a 3.3 and a 90 Supreme with a 3.1
The supreme used to do that ALL the time. I replaced all 6 fuel injectors and my fuel pump and the problem went away perminantly. Try the fuel pump first, and get a fuel injector cleaner at Autozone
 
I will definately get the fuel injector cleaner. Fuel pump will be my last resort, because today I let it idle and it died when the fan kicked on. kinda popped, so im thinking maybe a short in the wiring since the fan was replaced recently?
