Hello,
Anyone know what the 6 pin connector under my center console is? It runs under the gear shifter and looks like it's heading for the arm rest storage box but doesn't connect to anything. I'm hoping it's some kind of Aux audio input.

I have a great photo which shows the wire colors but the forum won't let me post images.

Anyone know how to easily/cheaply add an aux audio input to a 2002 Intrigue with the GX package?

Thanks!

Is your traction button plugged in? Because that's the only wire that should be under the center console.

As far as aux input, just buy a head unit. It's easier.

Yeah, traction control is plugged in... I think I'm going to try to trace the wires back to the head unit, some of them are the same colors.

As for a new head unit, I've seen devices from $79 to $400 that allow the new head unit to work with the door chimes, etc. Do I really need that?

Thanks.

Look at my links in your other post to those devices.

If you use OnStar, you need the OnStar adapter. If you don't, then just get the door chine one, which is only like $30. If you don't get either that is totally your choice, but you won't have any door chimes and OnStar won't work.

OnStar doesn't work in the Intrigue due to the switch from analog to digital in 2008. Unless of course you buy the aftermarket kit. Has anyone tried to do that?
