I drove my car for about 2,000 miles within 4 days with no problems...One week after that, I just drove like 100 miles and when I put the shifter in the "P", there's a loud rattling noise coming from under the hood..It just started suddenly, no warning..It's really loud (embarrassing!) in idle or with my foot on brake in gear, vehicle stopped..I listened to it with a stethoscope and it was clearly coming from belt tensioner pulley...When I removed the belt, the pulley was a little noisy, but not as much as I expected...But that was without the belt and pressure so it made sense...After I replaced the pulley, the noise is still there, exactly the same..It's rattling, loud noise just like those coming from pulleys, water pump, alternator, A/C...But those are fine and tight...So my idea is either the tensioner by itself (but why that would reattle??) or a PCV valve, which is right in that area..But I've never heard a PCV valve making such an ugly noise...The weird thing is that I drove it for 2,000 miles with no problem and a week later this just suddenly happened...And with no warning or worsening or symptoms...I'm quite confused...Have you ever heard about anything like that???..The only part I replace was a tensioner pulley!!..Also, at about the same time, the transmission started to getting stuck in first gear on take off for longer than I'd like and I'm used to...When I start taking off in Drive instead of OD, it's much better...It doesn't do it all the time and it's not slipping, just late shift..Is there some kinda sensor on transmission which controls it or is it controled by a computer???...I'm getting fault codes 26 and 31, they both must have something to do with it, because I cleared the faults before my trip...Any hwlp, advice or sharing your expereience will be appreciated...Thanks
