i would like to know how to change a stabilizer bar in a olds intrigue?

it's pretty straight forward, I changed mine myself on my 2000 GLS but I believe the 99 is the same. just jack up and the front of the car on both driver and passenger side and support with jack stands on the railings under the unibody. remove both front wheels, remove the stablizer bar end links, remove the mounting brackets and the rubber bushings, then you can work the bar out from the passenger side. installation is the same procedure in reverse order.

Front sway bar replacement

Hey guys,
I am in the middle of replacing my front sway bar (02 Intrigue) and have run into a problem. I have removed all of the bolts but I cannot for the life of me remove the mounting brackets from the sway bar. I can see where the should pop off but the rubber insulation in my brackets has hardened over the years. It looks like I have to remove the brackets before I can work the sway bar out.

Any ideas?

Update: Never mind: it came off with a lot prying with a flat-head screwdriver.

I am having a very hard time feeding my sway bar into position on a 2001 Intrigue. I can't figure out the correct "combo" of how to configure/ manipulate the bar and turning the wheels to help get past the tie rods.
