trans issues when wet

ok guys i had an odd situation the other day with my 1992 oldsmobile 88 fwd 3.8 series 1 motor with od

on monday when it was real wet out i went through a puddle. after going through the puddle my trans made this droning noise while driving

once the car sat and dried out it was fine and has not made and noises or has it had any issues



any ideas??

are you sure it was the trans making the sound??

sounds like it

what else might it be? i am looking for possibilities

only reason i think its the tranks is when you drive a stick and put it into 4th or 5th at low speeds i get a similar sound

ok i'm stumped on this one sorry
but someone should be along soon with some help


have you checked the oil to see if any of the water got into it somehow
