The floor under the battery is pretty much gone. Just in that spot as far as I can tell. I'm assuming because water sat in it for who knows how long due to the sunroof issue they had. The spare tire well was half full of water when I got it. The previous owner had the dealership fix it and replace the headliner which he said was waterlogged and shot. So I'm guessing water sat in the battery well until it just rusted out around the vent tube hold and further from there. I don't suppose anyone knows where to get a patch panel?

Thats' one of the reason's i will never buy a car with a sun roof.
Floor under battery ? do you mean battery tray only or ?
I would think any custom metal shop or custom car shop should be able to make a new patch / piece to fit . Maybe could pop rivet that into place . Or make a mold with ? maybe paper let it dry then take that to someone that has a 3 d printer . then battery tray would be plastic , pop rivet that into place .
Other Possible battery tray rot issue could be over filling battery cells .( Most people do not know what that level looks like) . Alternator over charging . And cheaper batteries gas off more than a good quality battery .

These batteries are under the back seat like the 2000-05 LeSabres and some Cadillacs around those years. They vent to the outside with plastic tubes. My local yard cut a section of the floor out of a LeSabre so I'll trim it to fit and weld it in properly. I had the battery checked at two stores and they say it's good so I need to find out what drained it. After screwing up patch jobs on cars when I was a kid I will never pop-rivet or screw a patch in place. It won't last and it looks horrible. After I fix the issues this car has I would like to keep it for a long time, I love the way it rides and handles so I'm going to do it right.
