I've recently bought an Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera Brougham International Series 3.8, built in the Canada factory in 1988 together with my friends to make a road trip with it this summer. The car runs great and has no real structural rust issues, it does have a lot of issues though, the A/C and cruise control don't work, the heater leaks, the tachometer is stuck at where ~12.000RPM would be and the paintwork has seen far better days. The interior however is pretty neat and the engine and gearbox work great. The car has done about 240.000KM (it's an original Dutch market car) which is about 150.000 miles.
Expect some forum spam from me or my friends about the adventures we'll have with the Olds, a.k.a. Lady Liberty. Any advice about the car is always welcome and we'll try to help you guys once we start to learn some things about the car.
