I just had some general questions about updating my audio system.

1. I need to know whether or not I have bose installed, I understand if I do it will be more expensive and more complicated, but i honestly do not know how to tell if i do or not.

2. I know I need some kind of module to do this but I am not sure exactly which and was wondering if anyone knows the exact name of what I need and if it is actually required. ( I hear it can cost around 100 depending)

3. To install a two din touch screen (Pioneer AVH-P1400DVD) head unit what transfer case and adapters do I need exactly? And will it fit correctly?

4. Finally is there anything I am missing or need to take into consideration that you find to be important?

Thanks, Mark

A link address: www.crutchfield.com .

Three disclaimers: I do not work for them, and have only purchased a couple of items from them. However, what sets Crutchfield apart is that they actually test and work out the problems with equipment themselves - they don't quite trust the aftermarket manufacturers *grins*

Two, I HIGHLY recommend if they recommend part such and thus, buy it from them, even if it's a bit pricer than eBay. Reason being #1, someone has to pay for the testing.

Three, there's places that are cheaper. But again, see #1.
