Hey guys I’m new here I have a 02 alero 4 cylinder I’m running into a problem. I have a impact sensor srs code. Problem is the parts not listed with gm and no aftermarket support that I can see obviously a airbag is semi important and would like to get this fixed. Any suggestions or advice?

Check the impact sensors in the front bumper assembly... I bet the connections are corroded. The General doesnt like 'pleebs' like us messing with airbags so parts are not readily available as a rule.

These cars are aging, airbags are not and inspection problem in any state that I know of. MIght have to live with the light.

You can also, look at salvaged cars for the sensor. Since you can't find it new.

Check for corroded/ broken connectors, fuses bad/ corroded
