Hi guys, this is my first post here. I am the proud owner of a 1992 Olds 88 but the other day after no warning signs at all, I couldn't get my car over 40-45 km/hr. The engine revs...alot but I can't get anywhere. The tranny fluid is still nice and red but it seems hotter than usual. I really hope its not the transmission because its probably not worth the $$$ to have it replaced. I've been told that the throttle sensor may be the cause, is this a good place to start looking? Also, I have replaced several of the vaccuum hoses in the past as they were pretty eroded, could a kinked hose be the cause? Looking for any possibilities that don't involve a new tranny, though I'll probably have a mechanic look at it within the week anyways. Thanks in advance for any ideas
