Injector Connector Fix

Squirrels seem to have made a home in my engine bay and decided that my injector connector wires looked tasty. Discovered this after the engine misfired upon startup this morning.

There is not much extra wire to work with on the connector to solder a new connection. Do these connectors come apart?

Maybe could try digging out that purple part to get more access to the wire and solder a splice in and use heat shrink tubing. Or visit your local PicknPull and grab the same connect and splice the whole thing in. Maybe get some sprayable bitter flavouring to coat the wires. Thumbs Away spray might work.
