This is my first post, so please bear with me if I did it wrong, and now look like a moronic idiot.
I'm working on a magazine feature on a low-mileage '64 442. I've got some questions.
I believe a '64 F-85, and Cutlass had 9.5-inch drum brakes all the way around. Some info I found on '64 442s says they had heavy-duty brakes. Were they larger than 9.5s? For example a '65 SS396 (Z-16) Chevelle had 11-inch drums instead of 9.5.
Thanks for any help,
John
