3.1 Multiport F1 engine

I had a radiator leak, From a hose just under the MAF Hose going to the manifold. Comes almost straight out of the back and hooks 90degrees ish down maybe 8-10 inches overall. We had to remove several other hoses to get the room to get the thing out and new one in. I wasnt there for this part, it was done while i slept despite my begging to be woke up for any and all work. We've got the problem part taken care of but the other hoses, well the guy that did it is now at a loss for what ones went where, I dont want to guess.


Does anyone have an image from the drivers side of the side of the block with the MAF hose removed so i can see where the hoses are supposed to go that are beneath it.

I have e-mailing enabled and will check back neurotically. My car has been nonfunctional for over a week now any help would be appreciated.

There were at least 2 engines in that car, a 3.1 and a 3.4... the only other 2 hoses that I know of anywhere near the maf sensor were on the later 3.1's (96+) that were used to heat the throttle body via tiny coolant lines. Sooooo, I don't know what other lines you're talking about, are they vacuum or coolant? You never specified. The way these cars are set up, coolant hoses that have a specific location have different size opennings, and like most of the electrical plugs, can't really be mixed up, throttle heater hoses are the same size openings, but different shape and length, hard to mess that up. Vacuum lines all work from the same source(when under the hood). So I don't see where there is a problem, most everything will only fit oneway. If you are talking in the back of the engine above the exhaust manifold.... there is a valve with a wire and 2 vac hoses, then that's not near the maf sensor, it is below the MAP sensor, and one line is looped, while the other goes to the charcoal canister up front near the rad support. The looped hose should be just long enough to make it (using it's natural shape) to one fitting.
