Hello all I've been having a problem with my oldsmobile intrigue overheating out of the blue. Thought coolant was low when it overheated one day and just added more. The next day expecting it to be fine it wasn't overheated again. So I started researching and trying a few things. Replaced the water pump and thermostat. Still overheating tried burping it and realized the coolant was just boiling over and going out of the overflow drain. Called a mechanic to look at told them the situation and immediately they said blown head gasket. Well it made sense but not not really so I bought a bars head sealer did, it let my car run for about an hour (I think with the hood up was why it wasn't overheating). Thought everything was good, the next day coming home from work see a wet streak in the path I took to park. It was coolant from the overflow. So I bought a head gasket leak test and it didn't turn any color only after coolant started boiling into the tester(used the coolant tank). I've checked my oil for any signs of coolant and that was negative. Really don't want to get rid of this car as it only has 96000 miles just got new tires. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
