I replaced all the brakes including rotors. Fronts are working great. The rear calipers on the other hand do not even move. Got new calipers only to find they are not the problem and the brackets were the wrong ones. Rock Auto reimbursed me. Winter has set in and I will be replacing the rear brake lines and trying to get the calipers moving in March. My mechanic said that the rear ABS lines appear to be blocked. GM stupidly put the ABS as part of the brake master cylinder. What a pain. As I started the brake job I noticed that the fluid was black. I bled the front with new fluid but as I mentioned the rear do not move. No ABS light. I will get new calipers without the brackets in March and start from the calipers and replace hoses. Any body have similar issues? I got this car one year ago (Nov. 2023) and dug into the engine. Tune up. (Had original Plugs) Intake and valve covers were leaking, P/S pump was loud, oil all over. I did the cooling system, radiator, thermostat, temp sensor and W/P. Even did the A/C system with all new stuff. Cleaned the intake manifold and the entire engine area. Runs and looks like new. 103,000 miles when I got it, looks like it was garaged for many years. Tires looked new but were 17 years old? Not bad for 27 year old car. Pads, left was on right side the right was on the left side, one is melted and the other is new. The rotor is the new one....
