When I attempt to start vehicle it winds but does not crank or turn over. Is this a starter problem? The car will eventually fire up after several attempts. There is no clicking sound just a winding with no catch or turn over. Also, is replacing the starter very difficult on this vehicle. There are only 71,000 miles on the car, has a new alternator, and remote start. THANKS

It could be your starter is sripped at the teeth.
If you are mechanicly inclined you could pull out the starter and see for yourself (2 hr job).

BTW did you get a check engine light??
