General: The Holiday coupe package was the top luxury trim for the Ciera line during the 1984-1986 model years. It was based on the Brougham trim and was only offered on 2 dr models. They make reliable and comfortable cars that offer an alternative to newer imports for younger people.

Pros: Reliability, long term comfort, control layout, style, class

Cons: 2.5 4 cylinder is ssssllllooowwww, age related electrical issues.

My car has been in our family since it was bought new, and keeping it maintained has kept it running well and looking great. It offers the comfort of a 1970's cruiser and the modern options of a newer car in a mid-sized package that rides like a big car.

Recomended for those looking for a second car or a hobby car that can be done on a small budget

Tips-Look for models with the 3.8 V6 and 4 speed automatic, watch for frame rust especially near the rear wheels. Models with Pulse Wiper system were recalled because of faltly pump but few were reapaired. Gt, Holiday, Internatioal, SC and ES Models (all yrs) are rear.
