Hi folks, I just picked up an 81 Olds 98 Regency diesel. It's in real nice shape and I'm just getting it ready for safety inspection, I'm up in Ontario, Canada. The front coil springs were broken....but it came with a new set in the trunk. My son and I got them installed yesterday. It was kinda scary and very sketchy using the spring compressor...but they're in!!

I'm also doing the brakes on all corners and the exhaust. Then it's off to safety.

My question is....does anyone know where to buy exhaust pipes online that will fit this car? I'd like to do it myself while it's in the garage. I haven't found any parts houses that sell factory fitting exhaust systems online....except for performance type systems. I just want to keep it stock.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks folks!!

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us. And congratulations on the 98 Regency! Does this link help any?

Hi folks, thanks for the add!! Here's my 81 Olds 98 regency diesel. It's super clean for a 43yr old car....that's why I had to have it!!! It has definitely lived a pampered life...stored inside.

I'm up in Northwestern Ontario Canada...so 99% of cars as old as this have already been made into new cars. Lol. We have 5/6 months of snow and Ontario loves to use salt on the roads. So most of these cars are long gone.....but not this one!!!

The odometer says 13,647kms. It could be 113,647 but I'm starting to wonder because it's sooo nice. Either way, I absolutely love this old car!!

I'm 57yrs old and my father always had big cars just like this! He liked Buicks...so most of his cars were Buick Park Avenues. Which are strikingly similar on the interior. So this is a nostalgic moment for me.

My dad is 81yrs old now and has dementia. So I wanna get this old girl up and running down the road to take him for a ride!! We might even hit some back countr
y roads and I'll get him behind the wheel and put a few miles on. He can still drive perfectly...but he couldn't pass his cognitive test...so they took his license. Heart breaking...but it was for the best. He always asks "where's my car"? I always assure him it's well taken care of. There's not a rust bubble anywhere on the body...the padded vinyl roof is perfect and the dash is perfect without any cracks!!!

Anyways, sorry for the long winded post.

Thank you for the pictures! (Also, see my post above yours)

Those seats look very comfortable...

Welcome , i also have my dads car a 1982 Delta 88 Royale , my dad purchased the car new in Saskatoon , i now have the car in Victoria BC . i can not help with the exhaust pipe question . does your car have the over drive trans ? post a pic of the shift indicator . cars in your area have the rear bumper and plastic rear bumper fillers rotten off. i have the same 60/40 split bench seat . passenger side reclines . i also have the same original cloth roof .

Congrats on the Olds 98! For exhaust parts, try RockAuto or Classic Auto Restorations for OEM-style options. Local parts stores or classic car suppliers might also help.
