Ciera Cruiser CV axle

Needed a left CV axle (half shaft) for 1994 Cruiser S. 3.1 engine with 4 speed auto transmission. Local parts stores could not obtain. Ordered from Rock but received wrong part. Finally found correct replacement: Cardone 66-1126. Part is available online through US Auto Parts or Rock Auto for about $60.

Installation is fairly easy but you'll need to release the sway bar from the lower control arm to remove the ball joint from the spindle. Getting it back was a bitch. Needed to wrestle it into place with clamps. Clicking sounds gone and more stable ride at highway speeds.

Miss that Olds 442? Believe it or not, Kia may have something for you. The Kia Stinger is a large sport-oriented hatchback sedan in the mold of the Audi A7.
