Ford Launches Oil Spec New Diesel WSS-M2C171-F1

I donít know I am posting here is correct section or not, please forgive me for this. Engineers of Ford are suggesting that owners of Ford diesel not use new CK-4 motor oils later than company checking of some of those functions exposed accelerated engine wear on few of the engine components of Ford 6.7-liter in the engines they checked.
The category CK-4 was launched by the API for use in diesel engines in the previous year.
Ford is suggesting their installers, dealers and owners to use diesel engine oils of Motorcraft meeting the new diesel specification of company, WSS-M2C171-F1. It keeps the needs of CK-4 plus extra properties of engine protection needed by Ford.

This comes as a surprise. Did Ford make any campaign distributing this information to the general public? I feel that all Ford owners should know about this.
