1997 Bravada transmission question

I have searched and cannot find an answer. will a transmission out of a 1997 S-10 Blazer 4x4 work in a Bravada. were these interchangeable? I am looking at buy one that needs a transmission and a front drive shaft, it is missing and the owner bought it that way and does not know why it was not on there when he purchased it. thanks for the help

I checked Rockauto and they list the same tranny for both vehicles; that would lead me believe that they are interchangeable.
