Arrow Oldsmobile Cut Sup Brougham/ Seek Assistance with Seat Couple

Iím seeking any assistance regarding the seat couple attached to the power seat motor, as to installation. To begin, I brought my vehicle to an auto facility to have the SES serviced, as to having the codes flashed. In so doing, the mechanic broke the seat couple without telling me. Now the seat is in the far back position. Iíve ordered a part from the Parts Place in Illinois (Gm Part Number 20614175) with hopes of the part fitting. There is no way for me to remove the rear seat bolts to remove the seat. Is there any way I can remove the motor and slip on the Ďseat couple without removing the bench seat?

Enclosed is a video uploaded to YouTube to show the motor and some pictures. I would very much appreciate any assistance in the process. It does appear the motor may be removable with the seat in place but Iím unsure. The Oldsmobile manual I have does not show or display the power seat motor.

Welcome to the Forum!

With that couple broken there is no connection. Have you tried sitting in the seat and pulling it forward, or maybe sitting in the back seat and pushing the seat forward to you can get to the bolts?

Also, you can pull the front bolts and rock the seat back a bit; that may get you enough room to work on it.
