So I was just reading my roomate's latest version of Car & Driver Magazine which has a nice feature about the new Grand Prix GXP. So I started reading about it which they state it has alot of firsts for GM on the performance and handling aspect of things comparible to the strong Euorpean competitors. As I continued on it hit me......THIS IS AN AURORA IN PONTIACS NAME.

I know its a little smaller and the luxury that the Aurora had is not quite there. Maybe I'm way off but I was just wondering if anybody else had thought this. It could have something to do with the fact that I am quite biased, I absolutely love my car and wish that they would return. Just thought it was kind of interesting.

I think it may be dreaming. I do see the similarities, but at the same time, the Pontiac is obviously more geared toward performance, while the Olds was more luxury. The GP is more brute force (optional 5.3 pushrod v8), while the Aurora had more technology (4.0 DOHC v8).
