2003 3400 V6 Misfire Code P0302

Hello,

I have a flashing Check Engine light that reads Code P0302.

1. Swapped plugs, wires and coils around - no change and seems to have strong spark on cyl 2.
2. Performed compression test - all cylinders 119 to 122 psi and #2 was highest.
3. Pulled upper plenum and swapped injectors and installed new plenum gaskets - no change.

Am I forgetting something or is it time to pull the intake manifold?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

David

Have you checked the fuel pressure regulator?
Mine had fuel going into the vacuum line.

I removed the valve covers and discovered that the intake on that cylinder has a rocker bolt that pulled out of the head.

I am in the process of time-serting all the holes and replacing the head gaskets.

I'm glad that you're using time-serts!

Good Luck!
