1968 Delmont question

Can I out a 401 nailhead with a turbo 400 switch pitch, from a 1965 buick skylark, in a 1968 delmont 88?

Two different engines would require a bit of fabrication. New engine mounts rework tranny mounts lot to look in to. And why would you want to put a 401 nailhead in ? Pontiac and oldsmobile had the better engines. And is one of the reasons you dont see many buick muscle cars about. JMHO.

Found a car with no engine or transmission. The cheapest engine I found was a 401 nailhead, just trying to take the most economic way around my issue.
Thanks for the advice.

Should be cheaper to put in a 350 rocket with the 400 turbo. I would think unless you are a welding king.

I'm just going to find a 455 rocket with a turbo 400, and install that.

That should make for a very nice ride.... Even a 403 would work quite well in that...
