In ca we cant hollow out a cat convertor. Smog tests are the toughest in the nation. My 85 olds with a 307 is not powerful & a 74 pinto (4 cylinder) could beat it. The old car is gutless up a hill. The car is nearly 4k lbs + i carry alot of stuff in my trunk. It is what it is.
