I have a 63 Olds F-85 Convertable. Its in very good shape with 63.000 miles on it and I picked it up last year for 6K. The interior is in very good condition and overall the car is very presentable. I do need some misc parts to replace those that have not been well taken care of or simply worn out. First on my list is shocks front and rear, I have not been able to find a suplier for them. I also need the weather strip for the top on the windshiled, they lost it when the new top was put on.The chrome piece that runs just under the lock from side to side on the trunk was drilled by the original owner so he could install a plug for towing his boat, I need that along with the entire lock assy for the trunk, the original owner took it out and lost it...
Thanks for any help that you can give me......Scott

Scott,

You can find the weatherstripping at Steele Rubber Products. The good folks at Fusick Automotive carry AC Delco gas shocks for the 1961-63 F-85.

P/N 50170G Front, P/N 50171G Rear

Fusick should also have the trunk lock assembly that fits your car. As far as the trunk trim piece, it's a shame that some lugnut drilled a hole in such a hard to find part. Your best bet will be to start searching ebay and 442.com for a replacement. It's also possible that it could be repaired and rechromed by a good pot metal restorer.

Besides Steele and Fusick, try Kanter - I saw last night they carry some parts for your car. Also do a lot of surfing on the internet and leave no stone unturned. It's amazing what I found for my 63 Holiday Coupe
