Brake lines from master cylinder to valve

Can anyone help me with brake line diagram on a 2000 Alero? I stupidly took off both rusty lines from the master to the valve and now don't remember which lines to connect. The valve is under the battery. I think the top valve connection went to the rear of the master. And the bottom valve connection went to the front of the master, but I'm not 100% sure and don't want to do it wrong. Help anyone?
