WITH ANOTHER BRAND MERCEDES BENZ BMW OR ANOTHER JAPANISE ENGINE

The only easy engine swap on this car would be to install a regular gasoline powered Oldsmobile V8 engine. Installing any other engine would be a major engineering problem as the car was never designed to have any other kind of engine.

The Oldsmobile diesel engine is mostly just a modified Oldsmobile 260 or 350 V8 engine and any 260, 307, 330, 350, 403 V8 gasoline engine would be pretty much a direct bolt-in replacement.

Thanks for toronado 1979

I percive it is impossible put another engine because it is fron whell drive

well my 350 gm diesel istill work ... Work soo good

we preserve these engine and take care of it
