86 toro climate control issue

hi: my climate control will work only when the key is in the accessory position. It functions properly meaning the various fan speeds work and the air outlet selection changes (defrost, face, mix & feet) as it should. However, when the car is running the blower cuts out? Anny ideas? Tx, Ren

I know on the later models of the Trofeo, that could be indicative of a data bus problem. On my 92 the dash display went out, only showing RPM. None of the climate control worked until I got the display refurbished.
