2000 bravada exhaust manifold tube

Hi. I have a 2000 bravada. With the hood open looking straight in on the left side exhaust manifold there is a metal tube that comes up out of it 1/2 inch inner diameter, twists around and comes up (looks like EGR tube) to an elbow made of high temp material looks like rubber and then it continues down under the front of the engine. Does anyone know what that elbow piece is called?
Please help, the elbow has a hole in it that melted my wiring harness
