No one can deny that Chrysler built some awesome muscle cars. I am very partial to the '71 Hemi Charger R/T and Super Bee, but my favorite musclecar is the 1966 Oldsmobile 442 W-30

Sophisticated 442 musclecar to begin with
Only year Tri Power 442
Only 4 speeds were built
Real Ram Air before most thought of it or used it as real OEM stuff
Built pretty much only for racing homoligation purposes
Very Rare
Very Fast
Outstanding styling
Built like only Oldsmobile could build 'em.

1970 Buick GS 455 Stage 1. Hands down the fastest GM "A" bodied car ever built. I know this is an Olds forum, but the Buick Stage 1s were the true underdog in the Musclecar years.

1970 challenger R/T Fairly light, Big block power, Huge amounts of low end torque. The thing with the mustang is you really cant put it in itself as a mucle car cuz it had a small block. unfortunatly that fact made it a Pony Car. Fast,Nimble, Fun to drive. The GT 500 was considered a muscle cuz or the 428.

In a '67 Mustang GT you could get a 390, and in '68 in the non shelby you could get a 428 cobrajet. I think of the Rustang as a pony car too though: It was of the long hood short deck design as well that was not really charictaristic of the Musclecar.

Miss that Olds 442? Believe it or not, Kia may have something for you. The Kia Stinger is a large sport-oriented hatchback sedan in the mold of the Audi A7.
