Thumbs up

Replace the points and condenser with good AC Delco parts # D-106-HPS points if you can find them and D-204 condenser. Adjust the points to .017 gap and don't set the dwell.
If you still have trouble starting/running, check the gang plug at the firewall. Remove the bolt holding the electrical plug to the firewall mounting spot and unplug it. Check the contacts inside for corrosion and then plug and unplug it several times to restore contact.
Also, there is no way to test the horn relay (where the pos cable mounts on the electric relay on the fender well, a most troublesome piece often overlooked). If it goes bad, all sorts of bad crap can happen.
Remove and throw away the link connecting the vaccuum choke pulloff to the upper secondary flap on the Quadra-jet (and the little pivot link pinned to the front bbl. venturi). Then adjust the secondary air flap (little allen wrench and tiny screwdriver) first a little loose then a little tight, and test drive to find where most of the bog is gone when kicking it down. The allen screw locks the spring loaded screwdriver screw on the carb 4 bbl. flap. You have to hold the allen wrench while you move the adjusting screw, then tighten the lock screw. If you don't, the spring will unravel and you have to start over. Hope this helps some.

Miss that Olds 442? Believe it or not, Kia may have something for you. The Kia Stinger is a large sport-oriented hatchback sedan in the mold of the Audi A7.
