1995 Cutlass door locks

Hello again. My Cutlass Ignition has changed. NOW, this has nothing to do with the recall IMO, but now when I cut the ignition switch to OFF the door locks turn off and all doors are unlocked. I honestly don't recall this happening before. I haven't fiddled with anything except the radio lately.
When I put the car in gear the doors LOCK which is normal but now they unlock when I turn the switch OFF.
Any help is appreciated----------hopefully I'm not losing my old mind.

Doors auto lock when shifter is moved out of Park. Doors auto unlock when you turn the key to off. That is normal. They all do it.
