Thumbs up

On my 2002 Bravada, the stop light on the read of the roof does not light when stepping on the brake petal. I tried to remove the red lens, but could not. How can I repair the stop light?

Don't do anything yourself. Contact Oldsmobile customer service @ 1-800-442-OLDS

There was a voluntary recall (well, GM's calling it a "free repair") regarding rear stop lamps on some Bravadas, as well as Envoys and TrailBlazers. It sounds to me as if you're experiencing the problem as I had read it on the MyGMlink.com website.

Here is a link to the notice - you'll have to have Adobe Acrobat to read it:
Bravada Stop Lamp repair notice

If it is the problem as described in the notice, your nearest GMC / Chevrolet dealer should be able to fix it for you.

By the way, this goes for everyone, if you haven't already, you should register your car on the MyGMLink website. It comes in handy as far as keeping a record of your service, etc... not to mention, getting information like the repair notice above.
