Resto Upholstery Sources

Does anyone have a good source for restoration upholstery. I'm about to begin the interior restoration of my 1970 convertible and need supplies. I'd like to do it myself, but have not found anyone who stocks NOS interiors for 98s, nor have I found anyone who will make-to-order original style upholstery (I don't want generic covers). I'd really like to get the finished skins and pull them on myself.

If you're looking for reproductions of the original-style vinyls, try either PUI or SMS Auto Fabrics. For a custom interior, such as leather, you can probably find a good interior shop in your area that can handle that for you. Ask around and find a local car club member for a recommendation. Just to cover all the bases, pick up a copy of Hemmings Motor News at your local newstand. You should have no trouble finding interiors in the Services section.
