1987 442 rear deck spoiler and top of the fender turn signals.

Does anyone know where I can get a stock rear deck spoiler and the turn signals that are mounted to top of the fenders?

You know they did not come standard with the rear spoiler? Gbodyparts.com has the tips only.

Also your fender mount turn signals are called fiber optic turn indicators. I believe I have the covers and only the right hand cables. The 87 442 I purchased 15 years ag was wrecked and the one or more of the cables were severed. If your adding the setup, you will still need the rear setup also which entails the interior "monitor" center of rear window and the cables run to the rear tail lights! Make sure that you get the clear lenses that insert into each lamp. They kinda like a large clear christmas light bulb with a 45 degree angle at the tip.

If your going to full out and doing it right then look for a setup in the bone yards.

Thanks. I didn't realize that the wiring for those turn signals would be so complicated.
In my case, it sounds like a "looks vs function" decision, as well as originality.
I am lucky enough to own an original with only 37k miles.
So the question remains, and I get opposite opinions all the time, to change or not to change?

I sorta was thinking of turn signals so I may have misled you somewhat! The setup for the fenders have three lights per housing. 1:turn signal 2ark lamps 3:head lamps

The rear has one left one right, normal lights on mode would show up as a light and when the brakes would be activated the brake lamps being brighter and as a result in a brighter light showing in the monitor.

So three fiber optic cables for each side for the fronts and one cable per side for the rears.

Thanks for the info.
If I read your initial reply correctly, you have the housings?
I'm real close to settling with just the housings for appearance and not function. But I can add function later.
Are you willing to part with them?

Why not, if you can put them to good use! The 442 has been gone for quite some time. I still have a few items hanging around, some I want to keep but others can go.

I am not greedy. Lets say $10+shipping for the fender monitors and I believe that the nuts, gaskets and the right fiber optic cables are coming along for the ride.

If that works for you shoot me PM with address and I believe the wife has a paypal account or I trust everyone once with personal check. If you want pictures I can post those for you.

Pat
