77-84 exhaust ?s

going fishing here........ i know the chassis/platform is similar- can a caprice/impala crossmember from a 91-96 bolt into our cars? i need double hump for true duals, theres an aftermarket company that makes them, just wonderign if theres a cheaper route, and can an impala ss catback be adapted to fit without too much hassle? anyone tried this? a mendrel bent edelbrock catback is around $400, i'd hafta imagine that a mandrel bent custom job would be a helluva lot more.
