88 toronado P R D N OD display blinking

Hi, I recently just picked up a 1988 toronado that runs great, aside from an oil change and tires needed. I checked the dash's on-board diagnostics and "Gear Select problem" scrolled by with the PRDNOD shift select display highlighted and blinking. Overdrive was displayed underneath it. I drove the car around, it shifts fine, I shifted through all of the gears while sitting and when I get to Neutral the chime and gear select display lights up and blinks. Codes E044, B127, and B447 are stored in the computer.

You have to change out your switch on the tranny. FOllow your selector cable and you should find it, really look below the brake booster and its a square looking box with the cable attached to it. They are about 90-130 dollars and you should get a manual so you can fix it correctly. Car wont start unless you put it in correctly.
