Bravada Mode Door Actuator

2000 Bravada heat and AC only comes out vents. It wonít switch to defrost or floor. Iím guessing itís a problem with the mode door actuator. Any input on where itís located or how to replace it would be appreciated.

You may be correct in your diagnosis, however, and I'm not 100% on this; could it be a vacuum problem (does door actuation rely on vacuum motors). If it does and you have lost vacuum or have a bad vacuum reservoir you should eliminate this (as a cause) before you start throwing parts at it. My '00 Intrigue had a break in the supply vacuum line which caused the symptom you describe.
