1966 Toro electrical Gremlins

Hello everyone, glad to have another site to visit and brain drain.....lol...so lets get started. Mt 66 Toro drains the battery overnite (battery is new) I changed the coil, plugs, wires, voltage regulator, condenser, cap rotor and points and then I started having the issues soon after. Any ideas guys?

Hello and welcome to the site.

My guess is that your secondary ignition system has nothing to do with a battery drain problem. Are you closing the doors and deck lid at night?

Hook a volt meter or test light in series with the negative battery post and negative cable. Make sure doors are closed ignition off and aftermarket radio is off.

If the VOM shows voltage or the test light lights. Than you have a draw. Then start unhooking individual electrical items, until the the Volt meter drops to zero or the light goes out.
