2001 with driver door electric demons.

Well my first idea of whats wrong was not it. So it comes to asking around.

Got a 2001, As i said Driver door controls are plagued with issues. Its probilly something simple.
OK the list of dead switches-
#1 trunk/gas tank door
#2 power lock switch.
#3 Seat position driver memory buttons.
#4 2 of 4 window switches.
#5 driver override window lock button.

What does work is the driver window switch and the power mirror controls.

I tried replacing the driver door control unit but that wasen't the problem. I unplugged all the various switches and cleaned them.

I don't know of a relay or fuse that might be dead. Or if it a bad connection in a wire harness. The fuse boxes don't seem to have any obvious relays for that door control.

The thing is closing the door, unlocking the car, starting the car, or sometimes pressing the trunk button causes the car to go nuts. and open everything and reset the driver seat and mirrors.

Any ideas where to look for a problem would be nice. Maybe a connection along the wire harness?

Miss that Olds 442? Believe it or not, Kia may have something for you. The Kia Stinger is a large sport-oriented hatchback sedan in the mold of the Audi A7.
